Earlier this year(26/05/2017), Aya Velase was honored with an invite to participate at the first ever FASHION MEETS JAZZ fashion panel & fashion installation along with iconic South African fashion brands Naked Ape, Thula Sindi and Ephymol. Fashion meets Jazz is a monthly event hosted by the The CW and The orbit Jazz to celebrate wonderful jazz & fashion talents leading South Africa's creative spaces!
The event is geared towards holding discussions amongst established & emerging South African designers & jazz musicians as they discuss Building Fashion Futures & Fashion's longstanding love affair with Jazz.
