In a collaborative partnership with the KZN Department of Economic Development and Tourism, 'The Intern By David Tlale' came to life, giving four fashion and design students an opportunity to work alongside, and learn from the internationally acclaimed David Tlale.
Ayanda Mthembu: Offered soft nude tones and rich browns. Unique and architectural shoulder details gave the collection not only a strong cohesiveness, but also strength to each garment. His cheeky take on capes coupled with fitted and soft feminine silhouettes were the perfect juxtaposition and indication of his abilities to marry strength in design aesthetic with a touch of femininity. An entirely memorable collection that is affirmation of the designer’s talents and unique eye.
